Position Description
Hutchison Engineering, Inc. is seeking a licensed structural engineer to join our Structures Department.  This position will be responsible for engineering aspects on structure replacements and rehabilitations including:  coordinating surveying, roadway alignments and profiles, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, environmental submittals, preliminary bridge designs, plan development, specifications, and project estimates.  This position will also be responsible for managing project timelines and budgets while directing subordinate staff on design aspects.  The ideal candidate should have knowledge in geometric highway design, hydraulics and hydrology, structure sizing and type selection, structural design, specifications, estimating, and federal and State of Illinois requirements for environmental review and project development.
