Knoxville CUSD #202

Hutchison Engineering, Inc. provided design, construction observation and testing services for the high school addition project at the existing Knoxville High School site. The project consisted of demolition of much of the existing high school building and infrastructure, and construction of a completely new structure including classrooms, gym and auditorium. The project also included site grading, new pavement, curb & gutter, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, drainage design, storm water detention, sidewalk and handicap accessible ramps. Coordination with the school district, architect, construction contractor, utility companies, City of Knoxville, IEPA and IDOT was critical to ensure that the project followed schedule, scope and budget.
