Woodford Co CH 1/CH 11 Reconstruction

Hutchison Engineering, Inc. (HEI) was selected by Woodford County to provide preliminary engineering services including preparation of a project development report, plans, specifications and estimates for the reconstruction and realignment of CH 1 and CH 11 in Woodford County from CH 2 to IL Rte. 89. This 1.5 mile reconstruction project consisted of a new horizontal and vertical alignment with 12” aggregate base course, 6” HMA pavement, aggregate shoulders, culverts and other collateral improvements. Due to the use of federal funding, the HEI staff had to coordinate with IDOT to produce PS&E for a state letting. Construction of this $2 million project was completed in 2017.
